Settling In

Sign up for trash service

Fill out this form to activate trash service for your new home. We recommend submitting the form no more than one week before your move-in date to avoid receptacles sitting outside for multiple days and the hassle of an inadvertent association violation. The 2026 Waste Management calendar can be found here.

Submit for design review

Before adding sod or making other exterior modifications to your home, remember to submit a design review application.

The design review process ensures consistency in the quality of exterior home modifications at Vista.

Contact Us

We — your Vista Community Life team — are here to answer any questions you might have. Here’s a list of contacts in case you need to reach us.

Set up auto-pay

If you're a homeowner, set up auto-pay through the assessment payment portal to ensure you don't miss a payment. There's even an option to pay by credit card, if you'd like.

Learning the ropes

Homeowner assessments

Part of owning a home in a planned community is paying assessments to preserve and enhance shared spaces, like the Family Amenity Center in Vista at Montaine.

Community concern form

Help keep your new community in tip-top shape by reporting issues that affect the whole community, like community landscape, amenities, and compliance.

Just fill out the fully online community concern form — you can even upload a photo, if you have one that will help.

Resident agreement

When you register for this website, you agree to the Vista resident agreement. It’s a document that lays out the community rules.

Read through it to ensure you know what’s allowed and what’s prohibited.

Community standards

Vista at Montaine has specific community standards on the books to keep your community (and your property value) desirable now and into the future.

Community governance

There’s a nonprofit entity in place whose purpose is to maintain the vision and integrity of your community: the Vista at Montaine Community Association, or VMCA for short.

Renting out your house?

If you plan to rent your house out to someone else, you or your property management company must fill out the new tenant registration form each time a lease is signed.

Connecting

Community news & events

Now that you are registered for the website, you’ll automatically receive Vista’s community newsletter, Vista Views, in your inbox.

The newsletter is the best method for staying current on community news and events.

New resident events

We host several events each year to help new residents navigate their new community. Watch the calendar for the next Vista Hello to meet your Community Life team and learn the ins and outs of your new community.

Resident-led clubs

What’s better than connecting with others who share your interests? Step up to lead a club. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors.

Emergency alerts

Let’s be real. Wildfires, tornadoes, flooding, and other community emergencies are a reality in Colorado. When they happen nearby, we want fast notification. Stay in the know with real-time alerts from Castle Rock’s emergency responders by signing up for CodeRED — the town’s emergency alert system.
